Compliance Officer (m/f)
Sarajevo
Key Responsibilities:
- The provision of administrative support in relation to regulatory and legal requirements, as well as existing standards, policies, and bylaws
- Assistance in organizing, conducting internal audits, and reporting audit findings
- Contributes to coordination, review, and update of existing company policies and procedures
- Assisting with compilation, standardization, and interpretation of data and reports to meet operational and contractual requirements
- Assistance in processing and reporting failures to comply with GDPR, information security, and data protection policies and laws
- Assisting in creating effective action in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
- Working on DPIA(Data Protection Impact Assessments) alongside with identification and assessment of other compliance risks
- Conducting workshops and educations to raise employee knowledge and awareness on compliance-related matters
- Creating periodic reports (monthly&quarterly)
- Working closely with and reporting to Compliance Manager
- Reviewing, updating, and testing business continuity plans Other compliance-related tasks
Experience:
- Experience in analyzing various information
- Experience in promoting and implementing process improvement
- Proven experience in reading, speaking, and understanding documentation written in ENGLISH
- Experience in recording and organizing all necessary documentation that supports process implementation, maintenance, and effectiveness
- Experience managing GDPR procedures and breaches (preferred, but not a requirement)
- Experience in implementing ISO standards (preferred, but not a requirement)
- Experience in implementing policies & procedures (preferred, but not a requirement)
Knowledge and skills:
- Effective written&verbal communication skills
- Excellent planning, observation, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of scheduling and management of deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Ability to multitask, and pay attention to details
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
- Ability to be flexible and exhibit a positive attitude towards change and improvement
- Integrity, creativity, intellectual curiosity, high standards, persistence, and achievement-oriented
- Familiarity with ISO standards (auditing, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, ISO 22301)(not a requirement)
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
