Customs Entry Agent - English (m/f)
Let's talk about you!
- You have experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Word and Excel)
- You have experience in reading and understanding documentation written in English
- You are fluent in English in speech and writing.
- You have a minimum diploma of completed vocational high school
- You have excellent communication skills
- You have the ability to quickly adapt to an international team
- You can work in accordance with the high standards of the company
- You are capable of working in a busy environment
- You understand the confidentiality of the data
- You can work in shifts if necessary
These will be your main responsibilities:
- Organizing payments, taxes, and customs duties on shipments.
- Preparation and processing of documentation on import and export in accordance with customs regulations, laws, andprocedures.
- Track shipments through the customs clearance process all the way to the client's destination.
- Calculation of customs and shipping costs
- Keep up to date with changes in import or export laws or regulations by reading current literature, develop interactionwith colleagues.
- Find or produce the necessary import documentation, such as customs invoices, certificates of origin, and cargo controldocuments.
- Monitor customs and tax rates on imported goods, based on federal tariffs and costs.
- Apply for tariff concessions or customs refunds.
- Prepare documentation for shippers who can file a customs complaint.
- Prepare compliance documentation.
