Linux System Engineer (m/f)

For our team in Sarajevo we are currently looking for a
Linux System Engineer | Sarajevo
Overview of tasks:
- Planning and implementation of internal IT projects
- Ensuring the proper functioning and reliability of IT infrastructure (servers, clients, network, VPN, e-mail accounts, firewall)
- Installation, maintenance and service of operating systems
- Installation and maintenance of database systems
- System health monitoring
- Creation and supervision of technical documentation
We are looking for:
- Completed studies or higher education in IT (IT specialist, computer scientist) or extensive knowledge in the field of IT
- Excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux
- Extensive experience and knowledge in management of high availability UNIX-servers
- Good knowledge of database and web servers (Apacha, Nginx, MySQL, MariaDB)
- Experience with virtualization and container technologies (VMWare, Docker, Vagrant)
- Experience with configuration management systems like Salt or Ansible
- Experience with scripting (Bash, Perl, Python)
- Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written), German is a benefit
- Professional approach to work and maintaining high quality standard
- Benefitial knowledge: Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
